Jayeshbhai Jordaar: Ranveer Singh Introduces Fans To His ‘Larger Than Life Hero’ Character As He Announces Release Date Of The Film-See VIDEO
Ranveer Singh announces the release date of his upcoming movie 'Jayeshbhai Jordaar', which is bankrolled by Yash Raj Films
Ranveer Singh is one of the most talented and sought-after actors that we have in Bollywood. With back-to-back hits to his credit, the Simba star has undoubtedly become the first choice of ace filmmakers and Ranveer’s hands are full with many exciting and big-budget projects. Amongst them is Yash Raj Films' 'Jayeshbhai Jordaar' which will see Ranveer playing the 'larger than life character' of Jayeshbhai in the film. Much to fans’ delight, he dropped a quirky video, featuring him in various characters while announcing the release date of the movie.
Taking to his Instagram handle, the Gully Boy actor shared a video that shows him in various kinds of heroes as Policewala Hero, Gundewala Hero, Outerspace Hero, and Red Chaddi Hero. In the clip, Ranveer can be heard saying that Jayeshbhai Jordaar is the kind of hero who is different from any kind of hero seen on the silver screen. He also tells what fans can expect from Jayeshbhai's character in the movie. The 36-year-old actor said, “Jayesh is not your typical larger-than-life hero but what he does in the course of the story is heroic. And that is something I was attracted to. He evolves into a hero and what he pulls off is remarkable and truly super. He is a superhero of a very unconventional type.”
Sharing the video, Ranveer wrote, “Naam hai Jayeshbhai…Aur kaam hai Jordaar !!! Chegg out the date announcement video. Celebrate #JayeshbhaiJordaar with #YRF50 only at a big screen near you on 13th May.”
On a related note, Jayeshbhai Jordaar has been directed by Divyang Thakkar and is produced by Aditya Chopra and Maneesh Sharma under Yash Raj Films. The social comedy will mark Tamil and Telugu actress Shalini Pandey’s Bollywood debut. The movie will see Ranveer essaying the role of a Gujarati man, who is an ordinary man but he ends up doing something extraordinary in a threatening situation.
